I've just heard that Newtons cycles between Greenford and West Ealing has closed.Can anyone confirm this? A real shame to loose one of the few remaining cycle shops in the borough.

surely not i used to live in ealing and used to always take my bike in there a real shame for a shop this old to go reccesion starting to bite now isnt it Come on everyone needs to support local shops

It's a real shame indeed. I confess I did not use them as I do most of my own stuff.I agree about supporting local shops - but only if they deserve the custom. [Unrelated to Newtons!]
