The trick in Lisbon is to find somewhere reasonably priced, that is not miles from the centre. Of course, it also depends on how much you want to pay.Tripadvisor has some up to date tips and is quite reliable. The Vincci Baixa is a new, boutique hotel in a great location and gets some very good reviews.
