Where are you building a snowman this morning?

My son's school has announced it's not opening today ...he's so excited (though 17) and is off to build a snowman.It's pretty impassible out there: husband has just taken an hour to get to the A3

Here in deepest Dorset the snow is falling now - must be all of 2mm thick! The postman is still in his shorts and the thatched cottages surrounding us look truely amazing.If I get some decent photos I will post them later.

On the BBC website the first photo of the snow is of the corner of S. Ealing Rd / Little Ealing Lane.Dorset looks much much prettier.

But it's barely a sprinkling there - you can see grass etc...in sunny Acton it's inches - nearly feet deep and still falling

I'll have you know Sara, that for this part of Sunny Dorset this is a snow storm. It's something to do with being close to the Atlantic the locals tell me.They have had their moments though, Bere Regis is the next village.    http://www.bereregis.org/HistoricPhotos239.htmP.S.
