Can anyone recommend a local carpenter who they have used recently? I would to get some bookshelves and unit built into an alcove. Thanks

We've used Will Cottrell (07831 390 692) a few times (for cupboards, wardrobes, our kitchen and some shelves) and he's done a good job each time.
