does anyone know of a saxaphone teacher in the area?

my neighbour is looking to learn saxaphone. Any help appreciated.

I suppose I should say move at least 500 yards away.   The only saxophone tutor in the area that I know is Fred Summerbell in Isleworth on 0208 84770. Personal tuition is expensive,so it may be worth checking if there are any council run classes,starting later in the year.

It depends on how old the person is who wants to learn - if they are ar school they can always try to get lessons at school by the local peri woodwind teacher. As I am relatively new to the area I am not sure what the council run classes will be. If there are more than 2 people in a class it isn't always worthwhile as time is always limited. I used to teach oboe in a local music school in Essex as well as privately and to be honest I always think private tuition is better as it is more concentrated.As a side issue,if there are any people out there who would like to learn how to play the oboe or piano I am available.

Isn't it Saxophone?Yeah, get some earplugs!Actually think there are now silent brass systems which is good news for neighbours.And it's a really good thing people actually want to play musical instruments.G "smarty pants!" Lord

I would agree with you on that one - the part about not enough people wanting to learn an instrument. Should be more encouragement in schools. Well I'd better get off my soapbox, otherwise I will be here for hours!!!!
