Heard about the latest idea from this government? They now want to log every trip you make overseas, even a one day trip! What do they intend to do with all this information?Apparently this is supposed to protect our borders? Well if this is the case perhaps they would be better emppoyed trying to track people ENTERING the country instead of leaving it!If we had proper border control (like Australia for instance) to protect the law abiding citizens then they would have something to be proud of. Instead what we get is yet more nosey parker bureaucrats checking on our every move!Our civil liberites are being eroded on a daily basis, the government wants ID cards with all our personal information, only for them to lose the database in the back of a taxi or on a train.They want a database of our medical records. Try opening a bank account nowadays and go through the first degree - even opening a second account with the same bank you have been with for many years.There are more surveillance cameras in this country than almost everywhere else in the world. They want to track our phone calls, text messages, emails, the list is endless.Yet I wouldn't trust this government with any personal information, they haven't got a clue how to protect law abiding members of the public despite all the information at their fingertips.Our movements can be followed by the way we shop when we pay by debit or credit card. Bank statements log every entry, location, time of day.They still haven't got the foggiest idea of how many people are in this country illegally, whether these people wish us well or otherwise.By the way, the parlimentarians don't like us having any information on them did you notice! They want their expenses and financial information hidden from the public. They don't want us to know how many companies they have an interest in.It's just the likes of you and me that they want to know everything about and it is about time someone told them where to go!
