Ideas sought
As mentioned in my last post on redundancy insurance, my husband and I face the prospect of looming redundancy. We are trying to stay upbeat about it but we are really racking our brains for a 'niche' for the old boy to work in during these troubled times. What jobs will continue to do well in a recession. We've thought of baliffs and social workers, neither of which hold any appeal........ !! He's 51, so no spring chicken and needs to earn straight away as we have no savings and he will probably get stat. minimum from his company. He's educated, practical and has years of IT experience but would be ahppy doing anything manual or intellectual. What industries carry on regardless...even thrive? Would be grateful for your thoughts.
