Re the locals will complain about noise/intolerable traffic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx there's no pleasing some people. That venue annually hosts the largest Indian celebration outside India, I think , so for the one day's problems it causes is surely small cost compared to the publicity it brings to the area. It's all in the cause of diversity, so be thankful. It's like Nottinghill Carnival in that celebrators come from not only all over the UK but Europe. Rejoice with the " modernists ".
