What is going on in Perivale?

One cannot get into Perivale from Argyle Road/A40 junction? Why?

I couldnt get to Perivake tonight from the A40. I was redirected by traffic police down to Greenford, then back and round the back streets. A policeman told me that someone had died. As I drove back on the other side of the a40 i could see lots of police cars, ambulances and a helicopter. It looked very serious.

Re  see lots of police cars, ambulances and a helicopter. It looked very serious.      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx    and involving several persons seemingly, to have that lot of vehicles and helicoptor involved. Sadly.

I was wondering what had happened. There were sirens and helicopters for hours last night. At the moment, its still shut off and theres a forensics tent there too.

As reported on the front page, an off-duty policeman was knocked off his motorbike and killed.
