from Hanwell - A pat on the back for the council

Hurrah the council has arranged with several local cafes / pubs that you can dash in and use their loos without being a "customer". What a good idea - let's expand the area I say!

There are lots of Press Releases on the Council website - have I missed one which says this?I know the Mayor of London was talking about the lack of public facilities.

Yes a great idea, I think it is in Around Ealing and lists those establishements taking part. There will also be a sign on their window.

Indeed it came with the mag. It's The Viaduct and Lanvins pubs and 2 cafe's 0 the Rendezvous and ......another one - there are indeed signs in the windows.

Definately a good one. So no taking the P*** out of the council on this one. In fact it is these simple ideas that improve life for everyone. The idea of the council making a contribution to these businesses to help with keeping the toilets clean provides a solution to this age old problem. I hope that other centres in the borough will follow. Living in Hanwell it is good to know that my Bladder is utmost in the thoughts of LBE!! Well done!!
