New Bakers in West Ealing

I passed it today - the shop fitters were in so fingers crossed it'll be open by the weekend

It's on the same side as Poundland - think it may be where the short-lived pie /Cornish Pasty shop was

And after the short lived cornish pasty shop it was Awesome Pies for a while.  It's called Wenzels so will give Greggs a run for their money as I believe they offer more choice.

Wenzels is good. Been going in Harrow/Pinner area for years.

I have discovered the most amazing bread, that a couple of shops in W Ealing sell (not the new bakers tho) It's Turkish, and the loaves are large, flat-ish and round - dinner plate sized. The bread's a bit like French bread, absolutely lovely, the Turkish shop and Cudi do them

Broadway International food centre bake theirs on the premises.  You can use them as a pizza base apparently!
