Cobblers - back in the early 1950s/early '60s in north Hull I had my hair cut regularly by an E Yorks/ Polish joint barbers establishment - Brown and Petruniak - with no ill-effects, lasting or otherwise (albeit the standard haircut for lads in those days was 'short back and sides' with or without a 'Boston' (without in my case) - later reintroduced as the height of metrosexual fashion under the Thatcher militaristic misgovernment regime and regrettably still with us in then current and persistent neo-Thatcherite era).Less of this mindless anti-Polish bigotry please. Yes I know there's lots of them about, in particular and highly noticeable concentrations in some parts of this hallowed burg, but can you honestly say they're a cause of real trouble and/or that their overall soaio-economic impact on this septic isle is of the negative variety?
