Arcadia Public Inquiry
My Mum recalled cheering outside her home with pride as the Battle of Britain was fought by "our boys" over the streets of South London. For me this Inquiry made me proud to live in Ealing and cheer at the brilliance of my fellow citizens. At last we had a debate. Submissions were witty and illuminating. "Freedom of Ealing Medals" in large number required now.
