Christmas and free parking
With a great fanfare of announcements Ealing council gave us some free parking facilities over Christmas. After increasing CPZs I wonder how much it cost them and us the taxpayer. Perhaps there should be even more relaxation on parking times, so the hard pressed local shop keepers get even more substantive support from customers, and so the infirm have more time to get back to their cars after standing in a shop queue and so avoid being fined.Questions and answers to the Council in July revealed the following.
