Ealing in old newsreels

Has anyone seen  the Pathe News website..?There are some brilliant clips of Ealing through the ages. Especially poignant given the current situation, is a film of the construction of the Forum cinema on Ealing Broadway. Just type Ealing into the search window. Thanks for that link Dan,there's some fascinating footage on there but like you say its very addictive!Quite a while ago I posted a youtube clip of Ealing Broadway circa 1969 from the classic Dr Who adventure 'Spearhead From Space'. Dan, this is brilliant! Thank you. Can anyone identify the road at the beginning of the 'Ealing - Propellor for Bike'  clip? He rides into Kenilworth Rd/Ascott Avenue, but although the road where he starts is very familiar, I can't place it.

What a great web site!  An elderly friend's Father and Grandfather used to swim in the Serpentine Club, winning the Peter Pan cup on at last one occasion (Christmas day swim race).  I found a few of the early races on this web site!  :-)

I'm still trying to fathom the physics of that propellor bike...!Imagine the 'Health and Safety Police' spotting you on the Uxbridge road with that today..!
