Dinner party catering

It's my 50th at the end of October and want to throw a dinner party for 8 close friends. I don't want to cook it myself though because I want people to enjoy it. Has anyone used any at home caterers? What dod you think? Trying to weigh up eating at home or taking them all to a restaurant.

Yes, we think it's either going to be out for a meal now or Waitrose. May well work out cheaper/nicer to eat out. Thanks

I think the Thai Cookery School do food for parties but not sure if it is only the nibbly sort or if they will do main courses.
