Yes, the company involved are dreadful.  A couple of years ago I took my elderly mother-in-law to the station and in the minute it took me to carry her suitcase down the steps into the station I got clamped.  The clamper was extremely rude and aggressive and I ended up having to pay to have the car unclamped.  I did phone trading standards and was told there was little I could do as it was on private property and there were signs about clamping.  At last something might be done about it.

Funny how when a National Paper gets involved they can do something?? Can do exists if the press gets wind of something!!
