Can anyone suggest a place in the area that will re-stuff my sofa cushions. I'm sure there's a proper word for it, but i'm sure you know what I mean.

You could try a department store in their soft furnishings department - they should stock replacement cushion pads. Perhaps Debenhams, House of Fraser etc?
