Gurmit Kaur Mann is the lady who is standing as the third labour candidate in Norwood Green. The other two have not changed. Mr Sharma must have heard that we are not happy with his abysmal attendance record in Council, even though expenses are payable.

One of the other Councillors in the Ward is also called Mann. Don't know if there is a connection.I notice that Phil Taylor picked up this thread and posted the news on his website. What is annoying is that while he reads this website he will not properly engage on issues which upset most of us, i.e. the Ealing Broadway Forecourt issue.

This man and wife both being Councillors (ag John and Rosa Popham) doesn't seem quite right to me - but I can't just put my finger on why I should feel this.It's a bit like the two MPs (Mackay and Kirkbride) who in spite of their names are married to each other. It just doesn't seem a 'desirable' situation.For example some large US companies would never allow man and wife to be simultaneously employed in their company.What do others think?
