cheap book shop

Hurray - a discount book shop is on its way! Uxbridge Rd near Sainsbury.  Now if only we could have an amalgam of a bookshop and a pound shop I would be a very happy bunny

Have you tried the local charity shops? They generally have a selection of books - either that or freecycle.

Didnt they have a discount bookshop in the broadway centre for years and years?

They did and it closed down about 6-9 months ago which was annoying. It was next to Tchibo which is also gone.

Can't think what was there before - but it's two or three shops from Sainsbury

It was Oasis, then Benetton/Sisley sale shop for a short while.  The unit was never really empty. I went in there the other day and bought 2 childrens books, considerably cheaper than Amazon (by at least £2 per book) The staff were very pleasant too!
