Kerbside Collection for cartons (Tetra Paks) from 7 December

Hurray!Don't forget you'll get more in your green box and collection lorry by flattening them!  Here are some suggestions how -http://www.tetrapakrecycling.co.uk/whiteboard-squash.aspThe competition ends on 1 November so it could still be a half-term project.

Nope mine are always taken, only problem I have had is the bag of glass bottles - not mine befoe anyone asks!

You're lucky you got away with it - the collectors obviously didn't know which borough they were in.  You need to get your information about what can be recycled from the Council and not from the collectors who are not directly employed by the Council.The Recycling Officers can send information out to newcomers to an area and there is plenty available on the Council website.

Thank you for the information but I sorted all of this out months ago. I was just making the point about what they will collect one week and not the next - no consistancy even with the right articles in the right recepticals.

I have always washed/squashed mine and taken them to the following:Ealing  Town Hall car park, Longfield Avenue, W5 2BYCans, food and drinks cartons, glass bottles and jars, paper, plastics, shoes, textiles(See http://bit.ly/2zHTPs for places in Hanwell and Perivale as well.)If cartons will soon be picked up weekly, that's great news!
