Eve makes £600,000

Saw the painting this morning that was hidden in Hanwell library and it made £600K in Auction a few minutes ago. It will be interesting to see how it is spent. Fabulous work and so big. It would need to be Hung on a very large wall in a very grand building so not the sort of thing for any local buildings. so slightly less than estimates but perhaps the size would put some people off.

Even on Display at work in our main auction hall you could see that it needed a bigger wall to be on to be at it's best. That is one perk that you can see all the lovely art that is to be sold. last week raphael, this week Hanwell library clearance items!!

Whether it is Eve or stolen Martinware, "When it's gone its gone." Party conversations. General consensus. Eve should have been available for Adam to see before she left the borough and maybe a smaller copy kept for perpetuity and on public display. It is these small gestures that make the public think the cabinet cares about what the public think between elections. My Mum used to say, "Always ask first".
