Does anybody know how or where I can recycle books? They are old accountancy tables etc so out of date and not of interest to charity shops.Thank you.

This may sound like a daft answer, but why not put it in with the paper recycling? I am sure they take books etc.

They do. I've put them in before and they've taken them with no demur

Thought they did. Before I moved here I had to downsize my book collection and put over a hundred books into a recycling sack. They were taken and put to good use.
