Left stranded on the suspended Central Line last week? Claim your refund
If you were stranded following the suspension of the Central Line last Wednesday evening then the chances are you are entitled to a refund for your journey home under TfL’s Customer Charter. If everyone claims it will send a clear message to TfL about what residents in West London are prepared to put up with on their transport system. The Charter entitles all underground users a full refund on their journey if they suffer with a delay of 15mins or longer that has been caused by TfL.Thousands of commuters including myself were left stranded that night from family and friends because of a complete signalling system failure in east London. I joined the masses of people who had fraught journeys home that evening and the least they deserve is an apology in the form of a refund.Anyone stuck that evening can claim their refund online www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/contacts/refunds.asp or by picking up a form from your local tube station.P.S. This also applies to any other delays (>15mins) you face as a consequence of TfL error.
