Re  LD leaders to do a deal with Labour and we could have proportional representation within a year            xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx    Don't believe that for one moment, not only not within that short time scale but not ever with NL who in the past few years have lied their heads off wholesale ( wonder what the national debt will really turn out to be ) but of all paries who benefit from the current system, it is Labour.  So they ain't gonna throw that honey pot away. I hope Cameron does offer Clegg something serious in that respect, not full P R but something maybe along the lines of what N Zealand have adopted, exactly whatever that may be. Full P R could bring problems as other countries like Israel for example experience. So lets hope Cameron and Clegg work something out for the benefit of the country. As Chancellor and P M, Gordie has made Labour a busted flush. In both positions has been a disaster.

Except to say that immigration is very badly managed at the moment and has had some negative effects on perception. But it certainly isn't draining our resources at the expense of "more deserving" people. Local and central government policy is what is at fault, and local government idiocy in the way some of them interpret guidance and policy. It is certainly not the fault of immigrants that we are in this situation. What this situation does however is to allow those who believe the UK is overrun with immigrants - who are responsible for street crime, being prioritised for housing and benefits, taking the jobs of UK citizens and various other unsubstatiated popular accusations - to obfuscate their various prejudices with the camouflage of economics.

And the fact is without members of his party as councillors, we would not have learned of the Revised Tenancy Agreement 2001. Right eye-opener that was. Plus the fact on the question of mass immigration the vast % of the population are equally concerned, witness the pseudo concern of the outgoing  administration of mass immigration and willingness to discuss it at long last as they were getting the wind up only because they saw the drift of the voting public, especially white working class towards the BNP who were voicing the facts, along with Migration Watch.
