Lidl in West Ealing

Passing what was Poundland store in West Ealing (opposite Wilkinson) saw notices in window for drinks licence application in the name of Lidl's.

"where are people going to park?"Probably where they do now, or if shopping at Lidl, in Greenford, Hanwell, and Southall.If the appearance of Lidl in WE means the disappearance of those two grocers whose wares spread over the footpaths then it can only be a good thing.

Surely you should be thankful that at least one empty shop will soon be open. At least it will lessen the appearance of tumbleweed that the BBC seem to think West Ealing has rolling down it's streets.

I really don't know what I can say about Lidl as have never shopped there before. Therefore will reserve judgement until it arrives.

Lidl has never been "done" for hygiene offences in the UK and doesn't sprawl its wares over the public footpath.
