This year's event ws far the best so far. Thank you and well done. Hower, far more ought to happen at the Hanwell community centre. We now have afantastic facility, why not make use of it? At the moment it is only a gathering venue for those who will be in the procession most of whom, at best of times have to wait outside it, come rain or shine, for about one and a half hour with nothing to do and nowhere to sit. It is a hard job for those who are in charge of groups of young children to keep them all unde control. Why not lay tables and chairs in the downstair hall, provide some proper refreshment, rather than just those in the vending machines and, as the band and entertainers are already there, perhaps offer some sort of entertainment followed by a proper 'crowing cerimony' of the carnival queen. This will make the waiting less boring, the beginning of the event more attractive and get everyone in a real 'carnival spirit' and ready for the long march ahead.
