If he did as good a job at scoring on the pitch as he did off the pitch in  scoring with another woman (like a few of our world cup players) then maybe we would have got a bit further in the competition. These footballers have giant ego's giant wage packets and no morals! Fabio should look further down the leagues for those players who are hungry to win matches and would love the opportunity of playing for their country instead of relying on a bunch of overinflated egos

Because their journalistic standards are higher than those of the papers you read?  Anyway, the reports are full of "claimed" and "alleged".  Why do you think that this site should repeat unconfirmed allegations about the private life of someone who doesn't even live in Ealing?

I don't read newspapers. I only listen to the The Today programme n Radio 4. He hasn't denied the allegations so far and has split from his fiance. He used to live in Ealing and went to the Drayton Manor High School in Hanwell. Someone once suggested on this forum that he be given the freedom/keys to Ealing or something ridculous like that. I wil post the thread when I find it.

The old terrace chant when he played for Liverpool always made me chuckle:"He's big,He's red,His feet stick out the bed,Peter Crouch,Peter Crouch..."Maybe the bit about the bed needs to be re-worded to something a little fruitier.

So this person " slept " with a woman, so what. Surely this is a matter between him any any other person to whom he is " attached ". As long as the behaviour was consensual, he is doing what  millions of others do, and many of those who don't, wish they could. What he allegedly did is not something which I feel needs public condemnation, t'is none of our business?.

People on this forum have previously suggested he is a role model to children and should be rewarded. I'm just pointing out that given his recent actions (which have been reported on the BBC TV news and Radio 4)that he may not be a good example to children. However, if you think that everyone envies him for sleeping with prostitutes and this is something we should encourage, then I guess he must be a good role model. He is in the public eye and children do look up to him, so his actions do influence people.

What someone gets up to in their private lives, I M O is their business and sad the B B C as you say, see fit to blazon it across the media. It is all a matter of opinion. Not too far away, 21 miles or so, I think they would adopt the attitude of " so what, none of our business" The French and other Continentals have a different view of private matters. I think it better if the B B C and others had left matters alone.

Are we asking too much of young guys in their 20's with silly money to behave like saints. Here is a cross section of young guys and a handful get in the papers. As a group are professional footballers worse than say bricklayers or bankers within their age group. when we look at the comic papers we see stories about big brother and other so called celebrity people and when they have a bit of fun they get found out because of their fame. perhaps footballers will be banned from going on stag dos.

Well he is not married.He cannot score for Spurs or England ,got to score somewhere else.Strange he had to pay for it though,I would have thought there are a lot of bimbo's available to him. HAS He put North Ealing School and Drayton Manor to shame?i do not think so.
