Anyone else been there yet? I was looking forward to trying it. My daughter and my friends went there last night. They liked the decor and the food was fine - almost identical to Cafe Rouge but the servie was slow and the staff were snotty. This is a shame. Still, I'll give it a go myself and see what I think.

I haven't been to the Ealing branch yet, but I'm impressed by the one that opened recently in Chiswick. I would rate their food, service and ambience as much better than Café Rouge.My first experience of their Kensington branch was less satisfactory, but the way in which they dealt with my concerns was exemplary, and our second visit was very enjoyable.

I had  quick look at the menu and a nose inside but that's it so far. Are they child friendly at lunchtimes?!

It's good. Most staff certainly weren't snotty when we went for lunch on opening day, though  the maitre d' wasn't exactly super-welcoming.  Excellent value set lunch - £9.95 for 2 courses, both very good. Definitely one up on Cafe Rouge for quality of food.

The Richmond one - which has been around for a while - is very good, the Cambridge one - pretty new - rather less so.I'm slightly concerned about their ability to maintain standards while rolling out new outlets so frequently.

I had lunch there on Wednesday with a friend and the service was excellent and the food as expected.  We had the 2 course lunch deal and had no complaints.  Lovely bright and clean room and again lovely staff.  Much the same as we've always also found at Cafe Rouge.

Went there on Saturday for lunch. Food and staff were lovely but service was slow (in that we waited a long time for the food) but it didn't put us off going back. Seemed to be very busy with a good mix of people and lots of children.

Had breakfast there last week - not quite up to standard of lunch/dinner previously reported. The waiters are terrific - efficient and friendly - but the maitre d' (Eastern European? not English, anyway - I mention this in case of confusion with the nice one!) still leaves something to be desired in terms of attitude.
