More Festivals in Ealing?
Was someone asking a while ago why there shouldn't be more Festivals in Ealing?Ask no more - the first Ealing Autumn Festival "Romance with Russia" is now due to be running from October 16th to 31st and celebrating the centenaries of the births of Tolstoy and composer Balakirev.Dmitri Alexeev, internationally acclaimed Russian pianist, giving the final Gala Piano Recital on Oct 31st at Ealing Town Hall, heads a line-up of distinguished artists and events.Stephen Pound MP closes the (first ever?) complete Live Reading of Tolstoy's War and Peace.There are films, dance, music, literature, visual art and food for everyone - it's all on the website: www.ealingautumnfestival.co.uk
