I didn't go and see him but I've been quite suprised by the amount of 'anti pope' feeling. I have read a few reports where people are saying this is a secular country but I always thought this was a christian country, am I wrong? Seems to me alot of people got alot of joy over his visit, I understand some people think we shouldn't have part/ funded it, but there are alot of catholic tax payers so i dont see the problem. I didn't especially want the olympics here but I'm paying for it. I didn't especially want the pope here either but lots of tax payers did.
