Hanwell Community Centre
I just wanted to spread the word about a new website for Hanwell Community Centre www.hanwellcommunitycentre.com which goes online tomorrow. On it you will find lots of info about what goes on there and the history of the building – all about Charlie Chaplin’s time when he was a 7 year old there when it was a school for pauper children and in the late ‘60s when four of the most famous rock bands – The Who, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin rehearsed there + lots of pictures and memories.
