Griiting well done 'for a change

Well done to Ealing's workmen for gritting the pavements the length of St Mary's and South Ealing roads yesterday. Those guys worked really hard and with a smile to passers by.Admittedly they went down one side and back up the other and the tube station area went ungritted till the afternoon, but it did get done, and properly.But the staff did work hard. Well done.Would be good if a dollop of grit could be left at each side street corner so the fitter residents could help do the pavements there.Noticeable that nothing was done in Brentford except at bus stops.

They certainly haven't done the pavements on Windmill Road, which is particularly slippery and dangerous this morning.

Well there's nothing been done in the Northfields area apart from the road (not pavements) on Northfield Ave itself. Side streets are treacherous. I'd be happy to go spread some in my locality.

Yes I agree that the pavements on windmill & sides roads are terrible and will remian like that until the temp rises

Someone being positive about Council work / employees / contractors. I can be as cynical and depressed about Ealing as the next man but a refreshing and welcome comment - thanks Oliver.Definitely something for Ealing to think about - someone on each street to sort the pavements if they deliver sufficient grit to one point...I would volunteer.

Northfield Ave was gritted yesterday morning-on the first day of snow dont know how far up or down it but def from just past allotments to past lamas park
