Parking in Ealing

Can someone explain why it is necessary for someone to stop in the middle of the road in Graham Avenue when there is a double space 2 car lengths away , to allow their teenage child to chat to it's friends on the street, causing 7 other vehicles to stop behind it?

I wholeheartedly agree with Susan. This seems to be common practise now. People just do not have any consideration for others any more. Sad reflection on current state of society I'm afraid....!!

In some cases Peter, yes. You are going to come across an individual who will get out of the car and want a confrontation should you have the audacity to honk your horn at them. But in the main, these people are ignorant and simply have zero consideration for others...
