another bicycle question

Can anyone recommend somewhere to leave a bike around Ealing Broadway station?

The are cycle stands opposite the station very often full though and reasonably safe as far as these things go, two things though lock or take your front wheel off and don't leave it over night mainly because some meathead is likely to come along and stamp on it.You used to be able to lock them to the railing on the wall outside but I think they might well cut them off nowdays?

This is what is really poor about our transport in that joined up thinking does not occur. how many times have ealing council and other people talked about the importance of getting people to use bikes and yet in the real key spots nothing gets done. there have been various campaigns but ealing broadway for such a busy station lacks a proper bus interchange, cycle provision or even a decent car drop off that does not involve cowboy clampers. will anything get done??? considering the cycle lobby has tried hard to highlight this issue i doubt it. lack of vision in the council perhaps???
