That's a very good point.The drive belt snapped on my tumble dryer.Quoted repair costs were between £100-£140 as the dryer had to be "virtually disassembled".Found a fitting shortcut with Idiot's Guide pictures on Google -still largely had to take it apart - total cost £14.90 plus 90 minutes of my time.Some of the larger cooker spares providers on the 'net have fitting guides (and videos as Viv says) so it's worth a try if you feel confident and the part is not safety related.
