My family and I have just returned from another visit to see some relos in S'pore. You're right - its a well ordered little republic with little crime, almost full employment, strong economy and everyone busy in their pursuit of individual and national happiness. We could do with some of those attitudes in sunny Ealing.Count me in for a meet-up. Would love to chat over a beer or three. I'm free most weekday evenings. The Red Lion's just across the road from moi. CU.

I was reading an interesting account of the Singapore health care system recently. It seems everybody has an individual lifelong account which they can choose to spend how they wish (within limits, obviously). That introduces an element of personal responsibility to the system so that people have an interest in keeping themselves healthy.Do you know any more about that, Gerry?
