Boundary changes

Perivale is to be moved from an Ealing constituency to one joined with Brent wards :-(Have you seen how it will affect you? Comments?

The proposed changes are great news for residents of Northfield ward who will finally be part of Ealing rather than Southall, which is a victory for common sense!

Hi Graham, I am concerned that the re-drawing of the political map is always led with the idea of getting a bigger tactical advantage in elections. Brent is a solid Labour hold too - which means, I guess, Lab lose one seat here? As a Hendon resident, my ward has stayed the same. What are your thoughts? I am a trainee reporter for the Ealing Times and any feedback I could gage from you would be very useful.

Perivale is part of Ealing in local government and culturally, for shopping etc, we link to Ealing. To join us to part of Brent for parliament seems strange and unnatural to me unless the idea is one of a Gujerat in London.

Yippee!!!Northfields no longer 'served' by MP's who think that the eastern extremity of their constituency is the Iron Bridge.Bring it on :-)
