West Ealing Family Day - TODAY!

Lots going on from 10am to 4pm today in West Ealing. St John's Church on Mattock Lane has their open day so you can walk to the top of the tower.  Leeland Road Farmers Market is extended until 2pm and has a kids cookery school.  Lots of live music and food in Melbourne Avenue and St James Avenue is hosting a craft fair. St James Church has its own Cafe and kids activities, including a FREE workshop for kids aged 7-12 run by Opera Viscera starting at 1pm. WEN Abundance stall will be outside St James selling our produce and pressing apples for juice.Tell your friends and family and come along to support your local community and businesses.

Hi Graham yes we at WEN have done a lot of the work as well as Mike Sylvester. Ealing Council have supported us financially and with leaflets etc, PR - albeit late in the day.It really was a super day.

Melbourne Ave, St James and St John's and St Mary's gave us in Ealing a great day's entertainment. From the top of St John's tower you could just see the people walking round the parapet of the tower of St Mary's. The views are fabulous. A very elevating experience. The history time line and photos in St John's was particularly interesting.The music, singing and opera in Melbourne Ave and St Jameswere of the highest standard. I am really sorry I missed so much of such a great family day out. A big thank you to all involved.
