Does anyone know what the new shop is going to be in the old Daniels store in West Ealing?

I've heard rumours of everything from a Lidl to an Evans Cycles. But I think it's more likely that Daniels may be doing something in there.There's a sign on the outside saying concession space is available in a department store - so I guess it will be a Daniels?

Daniel's got a move on after I hinted that the ground floor should be requisitioned to provide temporary homes.(See housing crisis .What crisis?) Ealing only built 6 social rented homes last year. So the 40 people who could be housed here would reduce the waiting list. Pity that the officers in charge of providing a lead are swanning off on their bikes to Mipim at the beginning of March. They should be so ashamed of last year's performance that they would do better to arm themselves with tools from Ealing Boards and Timber conveniently just across the road and hammer out some real accommodation.
