I would guess that this Wagamama is just like every other Wagamama, just like every Mcdonalds, KFC, Pret a manger, Costa Coffee, Starbucks etc is the same.Why not go yourself?

Can only agree.It's a franchise and therefore very largely predictable. Guess that appeals to some people - bit like sleeping in a Holiday Inn.

Predictable is a good word yo use here.That is also why every high street looks the same, but as you say, appeals to some.
I like franchise enterprises. They are predictable, uniform and largely the same - like Heinz baked beans, Honda cars, Hovis bread and Strictly Come Dancing professionals - I like 'em all! Just as I like a Waitrose in Ealing to be the same in one in Knotty Ash and Marks & Spencer likewise.I haven't had a chance to try the new Wagamama at EBSC - maybe I'll get to go in the new year.
With respect GerryHeinz, Honda Hovis ans Strictly are not franchises. I too like a degree of predictability but am fed up that virtually every High Street is becoming a clone of every other.As to Waitrose and M&S I suspect that there are significant regional and local variations in what they stock and you choice is different. The key word is choice something rapidly disappearing as the franchise outlets squeeze out the independents.

Went there on Saturday and it was good. Nice to see it on the high street. Hopefully soething will open where the post office was.

Some of our neighbours went recently and they said it was better than some other more established Wagamamas. We'll go try it ourselves soon - always liked the restaurant chain.Yes lets hope the old post office will become tenented soon - it looks so depressed unoccupied and empty.

Haven't been there yet but usually find Wagamamma pretty average and really love the existing independent (?) Asian noodle restaurants - Hare and Tortoise on Haven Green and Thai Kitchen on Ealing Broadway are amazing value and Tuk Cho has great food and atmosphere and lovely staff. Support smaller businesses I say!

Yes, support smaller local eateries but some of the big 'uns need our custom too. There's room for all.

For the best sushi by a country mile try Atariya at Ealing Common.Since the Hare and Tortoise was revamped a couple of years ago the sushi portions are much smaller and not as good imho.

At 20:00 this evening I called Wagamama Ealing to place a delivery order. I was told by the guy on the phone that "We're a bit busy. Can you call back in 15 minutes?". Needless to say, I didn't. Not impressed.

At last, we've tried Wagamama(Ealing). We went for lunch yesterday. Had itame with prawns and wagamama ramen, with a couple of glasses of their house wine - delicious. Tried their shared taster of three small desserts and americano coffee with hot side milks - plleasant taste - usual Wagamama stuff quite tasty grub. We'll go again. A bit noisy inside but well spaced-out tables.
